Description
Get active this spring on a guided hike with Mike Erison from City of Mississauga Recreation and Parks, on the trails around Riverwood. Each walk starts with a 30 minute ‘easy’ hike followed by 30 minutes of ‘brisk’ walking. Come dressed to exercise and wear supportive footwear!

12-12:30PM and 2:40-3:10PM- Jamie Pereira and the Christ the King Church Choir
Jamie Pereira and the Christ the King Church Choir will be performing a selection of Portuguese and Brazilian choral music.

12:40-1:10PM- Jessica Amin, Dipannita, and Utsav Saha
Jessica Amin will be performing an Indian choral piece, as well as an Indian traditional dance routine with Dipannita. Utsav Saha will be performing a selection of pieces on the Tabla.

1:20-1:50PM- Rupali Vatve
Rupali Vatve is a native of India with a Masters in Hindustani Vocal Music. Rupali will be a performing a selection of semi-classical Hindustani compositions and will be accompanied by her husband, tabla player Vijay Vatve, and harmonium player Parag Marathe.

2-2:30PM- Goa Amigos
Mississauga based, Goa Amigos, is one of Canada’s leading Indo-Goan bands. Their music style ranges from traditional Goan folk to a more modern 90’s dance style. The band well known for its versatility has performed in various languages such as English, Spanish, Hindi, Konkani, Arabic, and Portuguese.

3:20-3:50PM- Sarath Kumarasinghe
Sarath Kumarasinghe is one of the foremost classical Esraj players in North America. Born in Sri Lanka, Sarath began playing the Esraj at the age of 12 and furthered his education in classical vocal and instrumental music at the Bhatkande College of Music in Lucknow India.

4-4:30PM- Catarina Cardeal and Mike Siracusa
Since 2003, award-winning vocalist/composer Catarina Cardeal and respected producer/composer Mike Siracusa have performed their unique blend of music incorporating Blues, Jazz, and Fado genres. They have performed in sold-out venues in Toronto and throughout Canada.

4:40-5:10PM- Subhadra Vijaykumar
Subhadra Vijaykumar is a Toronto based violinist with a diploma in violin from the prestigious Bharatiya Music and Arts Society's Music College in Mumbai, India. She will be accompanied on the violin by her students, Malini Vijaykumar, Suchitra Guntur, and Krishan Thayalan, and by the renowned mdrangist, Gireedharan Satcithananadam. Ms. Vijaykumar teaches at the Mississauga Campus of The Royal Conservatory of Music.

5:20-5:50PM- Sara Da Silva
Sara Da Silva began singing as a child and has recently performed in numerous choirs and in talent shows and musicals and has been writing her own music since elementary school.. Sara has been taking vocal lessons at the Merriam School of Music for the past four years and taught herself piano.
